Step and repeat backdrops.

A step and repeat is a large printed backdrop with logos repeated in a grid, so every photo taken in front of it shows the brand. Nonprofits, schools, restaurants and businesses order them for galas, grand openings, proms and sponsor events. They print on matte vinyl or fabric and mount on a stand. Proofs come back in 1 to 2 business days.

Step and repeat backdrops questions

How much does a step and repeat backdrop cost?

It is quoted on the ticket by size, material and stand. A backdrop with a stand costs more up front but sets up in minutes at every event after.

What size step and repeat do I need?

An 8x8 ft wall fits two to four people in a photo. Go wider for groups, and pick a size that fits the room you are using.

Should a step and repeat be vinyl or fabric?

Matte vinyl is durable and easy to wipe clean. Fabric folds small, resists wrinkles and looks soft on camera. Both should be matte so flash photos do not glare.

How big should the logos be on a step and repeat?

Big enough to read behind a person's shoulders, usually a few logos across each row. We size the grid on the proof so logos show in a tight photo.

Can a step and repeat show sponsor logos?

Yes. Most sponsor walls mix the host logo with sponsor logos in a repeating pattern. Send every logo file on the ticket.

Can I reuse a step and repeat?

Yes. A stand and a durable print can go to every event. Some groups keep the frame and reprint only the graphic each year.
