Stickers and decals questions

Straight answers.

If yours is not here, call or text 512-817-2200 and a real person picks up.

How much do custom stickers cost?

Stickers are quoted on the ticket by size, shape, material and quantity. The price per sticker drops quickly as the count goes up.

What is the difference between a sticker and a decal?

People use the words loosely. A sticker is usually printed vinyl with the design on the face. A decal is often cut vinyl lettering or a graphic that goes on glass or a truck with no background.

What is die cut vs kiss cut?

Die cut goes through the vinyl and the backing, so each sticker is its own shape. Kiss cut goes through the vinyl only, so stickers peel off a sheet. We do both in-house.

Will custom stickers hold up outside?

Outdoor vinyl with a laminate holds up to sun and rain in normal use. Tell us on the ticket if it is going on a truck, a cooler or a hard hat so we pick the right material.

What file do I need for custom stickers?

A vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) is best, because the cut line follows the art. A high resolution PNG works too, and we draw the cut line on the proof.

Can you make hard hat stickers for my crew?

Yes. Hard hat decals are a common contractor order. Reflective vinyl is an option for crews who work near traffic.
